Credit history: what is it and why is it important?

You will learn the main things about the credit information exchange system

In the format of a friendly conversation, a financial expert will explain what a credit history is and how it affects your credit score. You will also receive tips on how to keep it in good condition. You will understand what credit bureaus do and what data they have access to. With the recommendations you receive, you can better protect your personal data and track fraud in your credit history. You will also learn how to act if you were a victim of a fraud and loan was taken in your name.

 

The educational series was created at the initiative of the Ministry of Digital Transformation for the Diia.Education platform with the support of the IFC’s "Financial Inclusion for Economic Growth" program in partnership with the UK’s Good Governance Fund (GGF), the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the Ukrainian Bureau of Credit Histories.
