Experts: Alle Dorhout, Oleh Maksymiak, Mariia Klius, +2
The educational series “Human Rights, Equality & Inclusion in Civil Service: European Practices” was created for civil servants and anyone working to develop democratic and accessible institutions in Ukraine.
In five episodes, experts discuss:
- how Ukraine protects human rights during wartime;
- which EU countries’ practices in the areas of equality and non-discrimination are useful for Ukraine;
- how rulings by the European Court of Human Rights influence legislation and European integration;
- why equality promotes economic development, attracts investment, and encourages the return of citizens;
- how to discuss equality and inclusion in international forums.
The series combines international standards, the Ukrainian context, and recommendations for applying the principles of equality and non-discrimination in the professional activities of civil servants.
